My Baby girl turns 2!!!

I can't believe that my baby girl is 2, it is crazy how time flies. She is definitely the best thing that has ever happen to Casey and I. Some of the things that she is into right now...

1.) She loves Ariel and will pick out anything that has her on it.
2.) She loves the color purple and will pick out anything in the color.
3.) She LOVES water, so swim, or bath or whatever she loves water
4.) She has a great vocabulary people always think she is 3 or so because she speaks so well and so much.
5.) She has a pink rocking horse that she loves, she got it when she was 9 months old and I can't get her to give it up even though she if far to big for it.
6.) Her favorite movies are Tangled, Mulan, Brave, and any of the Toy Stories.
7.) She loved Disneyland!! She wants to go back everyday. Seriously she asks about it everyday!

She is truly a light in our life, she gets so excited when either Casey or I come home from work. She asks to go each lunch with daddy when he is gone she always says she misses him.

She got Toy Story 3 for her birthday it is her favorite.

 She wouldn't blow out the candles. Bo tried to help, and Casey tried to help and it just wouldn't work.

Playing with all her new fun toys she got for her birthday. The Belle doll we got when we were in Disneyland, he hair was gorgeous then but now you should see it. lol

Disneyland January 2013

Casey and I had decided that we wanted to take Adelyn to Disneyland in January. We figured it was cheaper to drive since there would be 5 of us going. We had invited my mom and little sister to go with us, that way we could go on big rides and there was someone to watch Adelyn. And since we had our new van it had plenty of room and it is comfortable too. From our house it is 5.5 hours to my parents house, then we had another 14.5 hours to get to Disneyland, we decided to rent a hotel right next door that way we wouldn't have to pay for parking and we were in walking distance to Disneyland. We had a blast we got to go for 3 days because since Casey is in the military they have a military discount where you can have a 3 day park hopper for $125.00 which is killer because normally its like 300 for a 3 day hopper.

We went early when the park opened everyday, and we never stayed til it closed, I had planned most of the things we wanted to see so that we knew when the times were and so we didn't miss them. Which made it nice we got to see the Main street Parade, which Adelyn LOVED because of the music and the princesses that were in the parade.

We didn't have to wait in line very much at all, when we were planning this we wanted to go in the off season when the lines wouldn't be long and it wouldn't be hot. The longest we ever stood in line was 30 mins and that was for the toy story ride (which is one of our favorites) it got chilly at night and we wore jackets but during the day it was nice and I just wore long sleeves and I felt perfect.  Because of the short lines we got to ride every ride we wanted to and some of them, we rode 3 and 4 times (or the carousel Adelyn rode 20 times between all of us, that was the ride that when people went on a ride she wasn't tall enough for someone took her on that ride. There was a carousel in both parks which made it nice.)

We really did have a blast, it was one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Casey and I would like to go every two years I don't know if we will be able to do that but we'd like to try.

We were trying on mouse ears, she really didn't want any so she decided to get a princess hat, it is Rapunzel's hat that has some hair down the back of it and she wears it all the time. 

 We had to get her a picture with Ariel she asked for it for forever before we even went. And when she talks about Disneyland she says Ariel Disneyland. lol

 Cinderella was so sweet and was reall good with her, Addi gave her a big hug. Cinderella and Ariel were standing in the same spot and there was no line to see them so we lucked out.

 This was probably Adelyn's favorite ride, she got to ride it 3 times and if you ask her what her favorite ride was she says dumbo fly. The three we rode the most were dumbo, tea cups, and carousel.

 Adelyn LOVES Castles, anytime we see a castle she wants to go inside, she calls the Disneyland Castle "hers" and she keeps asking to go back to her castle.

 They had just opened the new Carsland in June so it was still pretty new, so there were lines there but still not horrible, the one ride we really liked was Radiator Springs racers, and we got to the park when it first opened so that we could get a fast pass to ride it. If we wouldn't have gotten fast passes the line was like 2 hrs long. Crazy!

 This is the Toy Story ride that we love, there is no fast pass for it and it is always a pretty long line but totally worth it. It's a 3D game and it is so much fun.

 Buzz was so nice, he was headed to go back to where they stay when they aren't in the park, and he stopped and let us take a picture Adelyn was so excited, she was in awe at how big he was.

 Merida, we waited in line to see Merida the three little bears were there too and I was even impressed that Merida did have an accent. She was very friendly and let us take several pictures.

We didn't take a picture of all of us until the very last night and it's not the best we were just having so much fun that we forgot to take a picture of our whole group.

While we were at Disneyland, we also found out that we were expecting another baby. We then came home and found out a little while later that it would be another little girl. We are excited to welcome another little lady into our family. 

Christmas in our new house

This past Christmas was the first Christmas we spent in our new house. The night before Christmas Casey put a light in the middle of our ceiling, we hadn't had one the whole time we had lived there but I wanted to make sure that we had some good lighting for Christmas pictures. We didn't have anything really planned for Christmas other than to get up and open presents that was the extent of our planning this year.

The past couple years we have usually gone some where close to Christmas to see family but this year we decided to stay at home and just hang out Casey, Adelyn, and I. We had gotten a real Christmas tree this year too, I haven't had a real Christmas tree in years. My parents had went to a fake one years ago, and when I was single and lived by myself I always just had a small fake one. The one we got this year was huge, it looked a lot smaller when it was out in the lot than it did once we got it into our house. Casey had to cut some of the bottom off for it to even fit in our house. I have a few pictures to post but not a lot. :)

 We went to our Church Christmas Breakfast and Adelyn got to sit on Santas lap she was actually a good sport about it, last year we weren't really sure if we liked him or not.

 My kid loves gingers, her two favorite princesses are Ariel and Merida and if you give her all the princesses those are the two she will pick out every time. 

 Uncle Bo gave Addi this huge monkey and she loves it. It sits on her bed right now, and it is the same size as she is.

 Addi got a fisher price princess castle from Santa and Nana and Pops gave her the princesses to go with it.

 This is her Ariel doll that she got from Maga and Papa she drags this doll everywhere. 

 Adelyn got a stroller too. In this picture you can see she is wearing her Necklace out of her stocking and is pushing her new Ariel doll in her stroller. lol she ran that thing all over the house all day Christmas day.

This is the fisher price princess Castle that she got, when you put a princess on certain areas they sing or say their names and stuff. She loves that it talks and sounds like them. Can you tell by the look on her face.
