So I have been looking for a nanny job for about 2 month not quite, and I finally found one! I'm an heading off to New York. I am going to be living in a town called Katonah, which is 45 minutes outside of New York City. I'm catching a flight on February 2nd, and flying into LaGardia, NY. I signed a contract to be there for a year and if everything goes great we can extend. So I thought I would tell you a little bit about the family I am going to be working for...
They are the Welch's, Melissa and Peter. They have one child who is 3 months old, and her name is Maeve. (it's and Irish name) Melissa is a lawyer for a Pharmaceutical company and Peter is a lawyer for a video game company. They are Roman Catholic, but their sister in-law has had a mormon nanny for 4 years, so they are familiar with mormons and wanted a mormon nanny. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, so I can go and see the sites or whatever.
I can't wait to go and I am hopefully going to be keeping this blog site current with pictures and blog entries from my adventures in New York!
