So this has been a CRAZY year for us... Casey was in Iraq most of it, Adelyn was born, I quit my job to stay home with her, I've had 2 surgeries, Casey came home, Addi had her first Thanksgiving, Halloween, and now her first Christmas. For Christmas this year we celebrated it first in Moses Lake on the 23rd with just Casey, Addi and I and then my In laws rented a cabin in the mountains of Colorado and we celebrated there with the Unruh and Metzger families. It has been a great time so far, Adelyn got quite a few gifts, we went snow tubing today most of the family are going skiing tomorrow. We've had fabulous food, Coree's (Casey's older sister) husband Scott if a tremendous cook and he has cooked everything while we have been here. Adelyn has liked the snow and everything about the cabin.
Also right before Christmas the 23rd actually Casey and I put an offer in on a house in Moses Lake and they accepted it, it is pending inspection and everything which the inspection is on Wednesday but we love it. It is an older house needs some updating but has lots of potential. We are excited to have a home of our own.
As for the up coming days and month, my birthday is one week from today I will be turning 26 crazy how the years start to fly by the older you get. Adelyn turns one on the 27th which is totally crazy for me, I can't believe she is almost one. We will be going to my parents for her birthday, and I think I am gonna make her an owl cake we'll see how it turns out. We are excited for the new year and can't wait for it.
